The funds are donated in memory of Ms. Dunnams 24-year-old cousin, Lori who was a fatal victim of domestic violence.The Center for Missing and Exploited Women provides resources to law enforcement officials across the country to help solve crimes against women and to bring these women home to their families. The CMEW currently lists over 200 open cases on its website.The limited resources of our law enforcement offices can only go so far.My family was lucky in that we are an extensive group of hardworking people who did not rest until Lori was returned to us. She was missing for an agonizing twelve days. Some of
these cases have beenopen for years. There is no greater fear than that of the unknown.
