Epic Films High Point" Begins Principal Photography
Independent Film with Blair Witch" Potential
08/28/00 -- "Five friends. One dead body. A terrible secret. Will they stay loyal to each other, or will paranoia tear them apart?" This is the premise behind High Point," an independent motion picture that begins principal photography in Somerset County, Pennsylvania the first week of September 2000.
The cast includes Nechelle Fabiaņa (These Walls), Kimberly Jo Marsh (3rd Rock From the Sun, Ally McBeal), Joshua Picard (Deuce Bigalow, Mystery Men), Chad Whitson (Man on the Moon) and newcomer Dr. David Hajel.
Tony Urban is writer and director of High Point." His most recent work includes Poor White Trash" (starring Sean Young, William Devane, Jason London and M. Emmet Walsh, and premiering the weekend of Dec. 3 in Los Angeles) and R.I.P." (which began production in June 2000). High Point" is Urbans directing debut. Dwayne Conyers, CEO of Dwacon.com, is Executive Producer.
