Longsnap.com Launches on the Internet

Longsnap.com, a new Web site dedicated exclusively to long snappers and the art of long snapping in football launched today on the Internet. The site, developed and maintained by attorney and sports agent Kevin Gold of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, seeks to become the premiere source for long snapping information.
Longsnap.com features Snapping Tips from Green Bay Packers long snapper, Rob Davis, one of the NFL's best. Other snappers, including Kendall Gammon of the Kansas City Chiefs, will be contributing regular content. The sites News and Notes section discusses current developments involving snappers at the professional and college levels.
"Longsnap.com is a unique opportunity for teams, players and fans to monitor a critical, yet frequently overlooked, aspect of football", Gold said. "Longsnap.com will be a comprehensive source for news, analysis and commentary devoted solely to this unique skill, which is often ignored in print and on other Internet sites." Davis, a five-year NFL veteran, noted that "longsnap.com provides me with the ability to communicate with players and fans and share some of my experiences in how I turned this valuable skill into a professional football career." Visitors to the site will also have the opportunity to subscribe to a free email newsletter that will follow snapping developments throughout the football season on a weekly basis.
