Major update to Macintosh link checker
Germany, 29 August 2000 - Voget Selbach Enterprises
(VSE) announced today a major update to their link
checker application VSE Link Tester 3.0.
VSE Link Tester is a tool which allows Macintosh users
to ensure that their web site is working without
problems so that customers won't run into dead ends on
a web site.
The application received a host of new features as
well as refinements to established capabilities.
NEW TO VERSION 3.0:
Among the enhancements made in this latest release of
VSE Link Tester are:
| | - now tests an unlimited number of links (only limited by
disk space)
- now supports web sites which require user authentication
- now supports cookies that are required by some dynamic sites
- now supports HTTP 1.1
- now creates HTML and plain text reports
- much faster with large web sites

Several improvements to existing features have been made and
some minor bugs have been fixed.
PRICING
VSE Link Tester is available in two different versions.
The $ 34.95 US Standard version allows to test one web
site. It's for private home pages and smaller business
sites.
The $ 99.95 US Business version is well suited for
webmasters that deal with many web sites and for large
corporate web sites.
The new version is free for all previous owners of VSE
Link Tester.
DISTRIBUTION AND DOWNLOAD
VSE Link Tester is a shareware application. It can be
included free of charge on shareware CD-ROMs. The
downloadable application is fully functional except for a
limited report.
