The Global Muse Announces Support Campaign for Artists Equal Rights
The Global Muse has always been a strong advocate of the underdog.
So it should come to no surprise when you hear that The Global Muse
Network is a strong supporter of The AERO Petition for Equal Rights.
AERO stands for the Artists' Equal Rights Organization, and in case
you haven't heard of them, please read on.
This petition for equal rights covers some of the unfair and
unjust practices that are still being used in the music business.
These include the Works For Hire and Copy Right Laws, Free and Fair
Enterprise in National Distribution, Free and Fair Enterprise on
National Radio, and more.
As an attempt to allow everyone to gain an understanding of what this
petition is about and why it is so important, we have posted the
article, "Artists' Equal Rights!" on our website and encourage all to
read it. We have also placed a link to the petition for you to sign.
None of you have any reason not to sign this petition. This
is for you. Your rights and your future. Best of all, it's easy!
Just like signing a guestbook.
If you've been here for any amount of time, you know that I do not
refer or support anything that does not way in the favor of my
artists community. You also know that if it was a waste of time, I
would tell you. It is my belief that artists can only benefit from
this.
As part of TGM's support for this movement, we have placed the very
informative article that explains this movement and petiton on TGM.
I suggest that you go now to the following link and read the article.
If you want to help yourself, sign the petition and send it in. If
you don't, then don't. The article can be found at
http://theglobalmuse.com/indiefiles/equalrights.html
TGM has completely opened up the network to help promote this cause
and to aid in the gathering or signatures for this petition. We also
send out a challenge or request (whichever) to all other indie music
website to also lend their support. This is your chance to prove that
you really do respect the artists who fill your sites pages and give
a little something back for them allowing you to exist.
If you have any questions, please read the article first, then
contact Brooke by going to the following address

Please feel free to help them out in any other way that you can.
