HR Solutions Provider Fuels Branding Initiatives to Fire Up Regional Expansion

SALEM, N.H.; September 12, 2000-Benchmark HR Solutions, Inc., a recruitment and employee retention services provider for high-growth, start-up technology companies, today announced that it has hired Michael Parker as its manager of marketing and communications.

"Since 1995, our grassroots efforts have helped us carve out a reputation as New England's premiere provider of talent recruitment and retention counsel for technology start ups," said Bill Bench, president and founder, Benchmark HR. "But, we realized that in order to quickly parlay our local reputation and successes into other regional wins we had to shout it from the mountaintop. We brought Mike onboard to help us tell shout the story of America's best kept secret in outsourced HR."

Parker will be responsible for defining and building awareness for the Benchmark HR brand and all associated marketing communications functions, including strategic planning, public relations, advertising, direct marketing and, among others, trade shows.

Prior to joining Benchmark, Parker was team leader for the New England satellite agency of a Syracuse, N.Y.-based, full-service advertising firm. Prior to that, he was a public relations account executive for another Syracuse-based, full-service marketing communications agency. Parker was also an aviation electrician's mate in the U.S. Navy, where he was war-tested aboard the aircraft carrier USS Independence during Desert Storm. He has his bachelor's degree in journalism from the State University of New York at Cortland, located in Cortland, N.Y.
