Well there's a new ship afloat in these waters: outlawradioguy.com - devoted to encouraging DJs who have that raw, rogue spirit.

You can go there to check out playlists submitted by free-spinning DJs in a variety of categories; vote for the playlist that moves and grooves you, and you can even submit your own fantasy playlist for other pirate's perusal.

Outlaw Radio Guy was launched mid August. The voting began September 1st, and the winners will be displayed beginning October 1st.

Outlaw Radio Guy was created by Rich and Flo Newman from the band TagYerit when they decided it was time to turn the tables (turntables?) on the radio industry. And what better way than to let listeners and artists vote for the music they want to hear. If you remember when radio was fun and even felt a little dangerous, you'll want to add your voice.
