SCHOOL'S STARTING -- DIVORCE AND CHILD SAFETY

Our children are returning to school, and http://www.splitvilleonline.com is now helping single-parent families through the experience with the addition of a new book, "Be Street Smart - Be Safe; Raising Safety Minded Children," by Nily Glaser. One of the main concerns of parents going through a divorce is how their children will be affected by it. With both parents obliged to return to the work force, many children find themselves alone more often after a divorce. By opening the lines of communication, and aiding in the safety education of children, this book helps to ease one of the most common fears related to divorce for both children and their parents.

This book is now available in Splitsville Online's Childcare Center.

Beth Black, billed as "The Mayor of Splitsville," has created a supportive cybertown offering divorce-related humor, poetry, information, and guest speakers, on such topics as Separating Your Taxes without Killing Someone." A line of truly unique products came about as a result of discomforts Black and her friends experienced, personally, during their divorces. The Freedom Ring Set ends that "naked wedding ring finger" feeling. Then there's the line of humorous Tee shirts, perfect for divorce showers. These products, and others, blend with more traditional self-help books, to offer a road map through Splitsville and on to a better life.
