Walsh Joins 'Epprasials.com' Internet-based Appraisal Staff

[January 7, 2000] Elgin, Illinois - - Effective immediately, Christopher Walsh, owner and President of 'www.e-wristwatches.com', has signed a two-year agreement with Internet-based appraisal service 'eppraisals.com' to provide independent valuations and authentication services on items that people own, collect or sell at auction.

'Epprasials.com' leverages a select network of experts that provide a first-ever objective evaluation of collectibles through the Internet. Walsh's lends the service his specialization in International resale and service of Swiss and American manufactured wristwatches, pocketwatches and clocks.The service is owned by Leslie Hindman, of Leslie Hindman Enterprises of Chicago, IL. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

About Christopher Walsh

Always an entrepreneur, Walsh formed 'Vintage Time Network' in 1995 following completion of his high honors Master of Marketing Degree
fromChicago's Roosevelt University. His business acumen and marketing skills acquired from his studies eventually propelled his ideas to worldwide audiences through the Internet. In 1997, 'www.antiquewristwatches.com' averaged nearly 10,000 hits per day with orders for thousands of vintage watches, clocks and horological ephermia shipping worldwide. Walsh is a long-term member of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors and has become known worldwide for his love of LeCoultre brand wristwatches and clocks. He has been featured in numerous journals and publications featuring his collections.

About Leslie Hindman

An individual always interested in art and antiques, Leslie opened Leslie Hindman Auctioneers in Chicago in 1982 and grew the business to become the largest auction house in the Midwest. In 1997, Leslie Hindman Auctioneers was sold to Sotheby's, with Leslie joining their staff to assist the Midwest auction division. In the summer of '99, Leslie left Sotheby's to work on 'eppraisals.com' and
ahandful of other projects, including the two television shows for the Home & Garden Network - "The Appraisal Fair" and "At the Auction with Leslie Hindman." In addition, Leslie is currently working on a book, "Adventures at the Auction" which will be available shortly in publication from Clarkson N. Potter.
