JES Hardware Solutions and JMR Electronics announces complete RAID systems at Ingram Micro utilizing Fortra enclosures and integrated RAID controllers provided by JES.
Miami, FL JES Hardware Solutions announced today that it has teamed with JMR electronics to bring the next generation RAID systems to Ingram Micro.
JMR has always been a leader in enclosure design and JES will add its expertise in RAID controller integration to create a state of the art RAID system.
These RAID systems will come in five different configurations. SCSI to SCSI, NAS, Clustering, Clustering Redundant and Fibre to SCSI. SCSI to SCSI will feature Chaparral K5412 RAID controller boasting 10,000 IOs per sec 90MB sustained level 5 performance. The clustering systems will use the CMD 5640 clustering RAID controller that is certified by Microsoft for clustering solutions. The 5640 when in a redundant configuration can function as an Active/Active or an Active/Passive set of redundant RAID controllers.
A Clustering Redundant RAID system with a hot spare virtually guaranties 100% uptime. NAS systems give users server-less network attached storage with ease of use and setup. Fiber systems are perfect forSAN environments. The JMR enclosure is all LVD backplane, the entire enclosure has no cabling and this translates to speed, reliability and ease or repair. All JMR enclosures have redundant fans and power supplies. Bi-polar light pipe technology gives the Fortra enclosure a modern and sophisticated look. Brushed aluminum cases has a professional clean look. 3U 19" rack is compact and the tower case has a small footprint as well. Fortra systems can either be a tower or a rack. Towers can be converted to racks by removing the skin. All hardware to make a tower into a rack comes with the systems.
