The Beggars Group presents Charles Busch's camp drag classic, Theodora: She-Bitch of Byzantium. Directed by Alex Brewer of the Camera Shy Seniors. Theodora, a former carnival dancer turned queen, who is always foiled in her desire for ultimate power. Standing in her way is a king who can't commit, a court that wont obey, and a kingdom that wants more than her head on a pike. Part Comedia Del Arte, part B-movie, and all moxie and laughs. Theodora is sure to satisfy the inner drag queen in everyone.
