GENAMERICA CHOOSES INTERPRO'S EXPENSE MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS FOR AUTOMATED EXPENSE MANAGEMENT
Pleasanton, CA...InterPro Business Solutions Inc. today announces that it has successfully completed the implementation of its Expense Management solution, Expense Express, at GenAmerica Corporation, the insurance industry conglomerate.
Expense Express' flexibility made it the expense management solution of choice for GenAmerica. The diverse family of companies needed a system that could be adapted to serve the business needs of each group, while maintaining consistent policies, and look and feel across the system. Additionally, GenAmerica wanted to provide its traveling employees with an efficient expense management tool that is easy to learn and simple to use.
Expense Express was rolled out initially in a small pilot program to allow the company to fine tune the configuration based on user feedback. Following the six month pilot program, Expense Express was rolled out in phases to over 1,300 frequent travelers.
"InterPro's expense solutions have demonstrated their ability to reduce paper flow and streamline our expense reporting process within our company " says Darlene Lee-Simms, director, accounting services for GenAmerica. "Our Accounting Services personnel worked closely with InterPro throughout the implementation process. The result is an expense reporting system that is both easy for our associates to use, and provides information that allows us to negotiate better travel-related rates and, ultimately, save the company money."
"GenAmerica presented a unique challenge in that the various groups within the company had very diverse needs," comments Michael Hasley, president of InterPro. "By rolling Expense Express out to a small pilot group, listening to their valuable feedback, and using it to configure the system to best meet their needs, we were able to gain an overall rapid adoption rate by the users. GenAmerica is quickly realizing the return on their investment in InterPro's solutions via streamlined reporting, reimbursement and lower travel-related costs."
