Australian computer service firm takes over Atlanta

Atlanta, GA.--January 27, 2000 -- Computer Troubleshooters, the world's largest computer service network, has entered into the U.S. market with five locations around metro Atlanta.

Based in Australia, Computer Troubleshooters is a unique computer service franchise specializing in helping small businesses with all of their computer-related needs: repair, maintenance, upgrades, consulting, software troubleshooting, networking, and training.

More than just a computer service company, Troubleshooters works as part of the customer's staff to help their business grow through the most effective and efficient use of technology. By combining the friendly, personal service of small, locally owned franchises with the support and knowledge of a large international team of experts, Computer Troubleshooters is able to offer its' customers a unique solution for their computer service needs.

Of the five Atlanta locations, four are new franchises in Lawrenceville, Duluth, Stone Mountain, and Marietta. These complement CHIPTECH Computer Services, a former independent service company in Chamblee which has also joined the franchise network. Through these locations Computer Troubleshooters is able to provide their services throughout the Atlanta area.

Only two years old, Computer Troubleshooters has expanded rapidly to become the premier small business computer service solution throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Started by Wilson & Suzanne McOrist in 1997, Computer Troubleshooters now has over 40 franchises. In addition to the five locations in the United States, the firm has recently opened two franchises in Singapore.

Computer Troubleshooters plans to open as many as 12 additional locations in the United States and Canada over the next year, plus 20 additional locations worldwide.
