BulkRegister.com Exceeds 100,000 Domains Registered in January

BALTIMORE, MD - January 27, 2000 /MMG/ -- Alabanza, Inc. announced today that BulkRegister.com (www.bulkregister.com), its discount domain registration service, has registered more than 100,000 domains during its first six weeks of operations, and is on pace to achieve 500,000 total registrations by the end of this quarter.

Alabanza, Inc. (www.alabanza.com) is one of several companies recently accredited by ICANN to offer domain name registrations. As part of the "ICANN-NSI Registry Agreement," Network Solutions, Inc. (NSI) retains its role as the official registry (as opposed to registrar) of domain names, responsible for maintaining the central directory of Web addresses that is a critical part of the Internet's infrastructure.
