Maxim Group Inc. Announces Strategic Partnership with NetMorf Inc. of Boston.

Maxim Group News Release -- Sept 27, 2000

Maxim Group Inc. Announces Strategic Partnership with NetMorf Inc. of Boston.

Maxim Group

E-Commerce Leader Maxim Group selects NetMorf Inc. as a strategic partner in marketing and developing a Robust and Scaleable Mobile Commerce Platform to Enable Customers to Purchase Items from any Wireless Device.

Calgary, AB. -- August 21, 2000 --

Maxim Group Inc., the leading independent e-commerce strategy partner, announced today a strategic partnership with NetMorf Inc., the premier mobile commerce platform.

This news follows only days after e-commerce site giant Barnes & Noble.com adopted the proprietary

m-commerce platform, SiteMorfer, to enter new stages of its wireless strategies. Maxim Groups role will be to handle the Western Canadian marketing effort and then utilizing the resources of Maxim Design Studios, develop and implement various e-commerce strategies.

"This alliance with NetMorf ensures that Maxim Group stays at the very forefront of e-commerce strategies. Maxim now has huge bragging rights to what may become an industry standard for the wireless web world. This partnership will allow NetMorf to expand its global reach through Maxims clientele." Said Maxim CEO Craig Nadeau.

"Strategically, this is an important move for us," says Steven Bang, VP Strategic Alliances, "Maxim has proven itself as an industry leader and they can provide the tools we need to both market and deliver this product. Of no small consideration in this move was the resources that Maxim has available in the way of contract developers, which will add tremendous value in dealing with our new B2C clients like Barnes & Noble.com. I think that the evolution of the product will make some big leaps now."

SiteMorfer, the m-commerce platform, will allow the customer to quickly browse, select and purchase books, music and other items from virtually any handheld device. In contract to other wireless Web tools, SiteMorfer provides direct data access to the backend inventory and databases and systems, and allows business logic to be applied to individual transactions.
