Maxim Group Inc. Announces Purchase of EZ-Referral.com

Maxim expands into online Dot.Com interactive recruiting providing international scope and branding of the Maxim Group organization.

Calgary, AB. – August 17, 2000 –Maxim Group announced today the purchase of Dot.Com EZ-Referral.com of Calgary Alberta. EZ-Referral.com is a successful private eRecruiting firm established in 1998 which has an impressive global Fortune 500 client-base.

"The acquisition of EZ-Referral.com will provide Maxim Group with the international presence and online branding we have been seeking. The greatest opportunity here is found in our new access to a market component, which most other staffing organizations have come to fear as the harbinger of their demise. Maxim on the other hand has always been eager to embrace technologies as they arise to ensure we stay at the forefront of our industry and also provide the high quality – low risk service for our clientele," said Maxim CEO Craig Nadeau.

The purchase was made with an undisclosed amount and Maxim will continue to operate as a full service provider of strategic engineering and Information Technology staff. It is anticipated that the acquisition of EZ-Referral.com should immediately allow for a $2 million annualized increase in revenue to Maxim Group, not including the advantages given to new sales of Maxim Groups products and services which will be generated through this acquisition.EZ-Referral.com President Chris Bennett added, ``We believe the services which Maxim can add to our core competencies will allow us to increase services to existing clients by an additional 40 to 50 per cent, and appeal to a significant number of prospective clients.''

Maxim Group will continue to provide its exceptional quality Strategic staffing services and EZ-Referral.com will be completely rebuilt and presented back on the web on October 1st, 2000.
