HealtheTech Appoints Jay T. Kearney to Vice President of Clinical Affairs
Former Olympic Trainer and Athlete Joins New Health Technology Company
October 4, 2000, Golden, CO – HealtheTech, a personal health technology company, today announced the appointment of Jay T. Kearney as Vice President of Clinical Affairs. At HealtheTech, Kearney will be responsible for overseeing clinical trials and formal validation and performance of all technical systems & health solutions, ensuring their accuracy and precision.
Prior to joining HealtheTech (www.healthetech.com), Kearney served as Senior Sports Physiologist for the Sports Science and Technology Division of the United States Olympic Training Center. Kearney recently returned from the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, where he worked with and provided feedback for U.S. Olympic coaches.

Kearney holds a doctorate degree in exercise physiology from the University of Maryland. He is a former Olympic athlete, world-renowned fitness expert and widely published author. The announcement comes just weeks before HealtheTech premiers a new breakthrough at the American Dietetic Association's Food & Nutrition Conference & Exhibition, October 16 – 19 in Denver.
