MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS FOUNDATION OFFERS GRANT TO HELP MS PATIENTS

New Grant Announced to help MS Patients
Fort Lauderdale, October 4, 2000: The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation is proud to announce the Bert Warshaw Memorial Grant. This new grant, of up to $1000.00, is for people who have been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The funds are dedicated to the purchase of items or services that will improve the quality of life for the recipients and help them to have A Brighter Tomorrow.
Bert Warshaw, whom the grant honors, was a dear friend to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. In his memory, the MSF staff and the Warshaw Family have donated the money to issue the first grants in the Year 2000.
To qualify, applicants must be diagnosed with MS, at least 18 years of age, and have no other means of fulfilling the need they express. Applicants will be asked to provide basic personal and financial information, and to write brief essay of 100 words or less to describe how the grant would be used to help them have A Brighter Tomorrow.
