3six5 was launched in the first quarter of 1999, and has been a great success with tens of thousands of users around the world. The unique aspect of 3six5 is the ability for users to allocate any image to any date… therefore you choose what you want to see, and when you want to see it.

Each image has a short "info" text field, and a hyperlink attached to it. So if the user likes today's picture, they can click on the link and they are taken to the artist's website. (Users have unlimited access to an online archive of high quality images.)

There is a growing range of products within the 3six5 concept.
Peter Claridge, Owner and CEO of M.T.C. GmbH in Munich, Germany explains.

"Having been in the Media industry for twenty eight years, including pioneering computer animation for TV graphics in Britain back in the 80's, I decided last year to develop a Desktop Media Channel where the user was in control of what they see on their desktop on a daily basis.

The Patent application process over, the design finished, the website up and running, only the feedback from the users was missing, So earlier in this year I posted a feedback questionnaire on the site asking what users would like to see.

The #1 reply was "I want to add my own pictures!"

"Personal Pictures" is an application that allows the user to convert a jpeg picture into the 3six5 format, adding a new Title, Info text, and hyperlink. (Great for an email address on photo's of friends and family !)

Aimed at the individual user, Personal Pictures can also be licensed for commercial usage.
