AllWebMenus Creates Cross-Browser, DHTML/Javascript Menus for Web Pages Visually, without any Programming Experience Required!
Likno has released AllWebMenus version 1.1, a DHTML/Javascript menu authoring tool that lets you design and insert menus into your web pages visually, without any programming experience required. AllWebMenus builds cross-browser menus that work alike in browsers supporting DHTML, such as both the Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator of versions 4.0 and above, without having you to deal with the DHTML incompatibilities across browsers.
AllWebMenus v1.1 is simple to use with everything on just one screen: the menu on the left and the properties on the right. Through a WYSIWYG Preview Window you can instantly preview all changes made to the menu during the design phase.
AllWebMenus v1.1 lets you assign plenty of properties to the menu and its entities. To mention some of them, a Javascript menu can be vertical or horizontal, it can be movable, stay visible while scrolling, contain static or animated images, borders, colors and much more. There is also a collection of predefined styles in the Style Gallery that can help you build a menu very fast; just add the text for each menu item and let the Style Gallery take care of its appearance.
In addition to its menu-design capabilities, AllWebMenus includes a simple, step-by-step process that makes it easy to insert a menu into your web page in seconds. Theres even a solution for older browsers that dont support DHTML; an alternative (menu-free) web page can be optionally specified so that these browsers will be automatically redirected there.
Other major features include:
- Three different item property states (on Normal", on Mouse Over" and on Mouse Click") to create several effects
- Complete help for all properties and commands, plus context-sensitive help
- Complete control of the submenus behavior by specifying How, When and Where they should open
- Pick Style and Apply Style functions to quickly apply an entitys appearance to other like entities
- Ability to use a Title that enables the user to relocate the menu in the page
- Ability to specify a status bar text for each item
Allwebmenus v1.1 has received a very positive response from customers and reviewers, such as a Five-Cows rating from Tucows and a Five-Stars rating from ZDNet. Since a picture is better than a thousand words, the best way for someone to realize the AllWebMenus design capabilities is to look at the menu examples located at http://www.likno.com/examples.html
AllWebMenus v1.1 costs $35 for a single-user license and is available for Windows ME/98/95/2000/NT. The trial version can be downloaded from the Likno site, at http://www.likno.com. For more information, contact support@likno.com.
