Global Reach Presents Multilingual Web Promotion Strategy

NEW YORK -- Back in 1996, Global Reach launched a service that was
designed to give more "world" to the World-Wide Web. The service
combines translation of Web pages with Web site promotion in all
languages, to assist companies localize their site and attract
more traffic from various countries, prospects... and ultimately,

Most all U.S. Web sites today are available in English. However,
Global Reach holds strongly to the point that "Marketing always
takes place in the language of the target market". It doesn't
even matter how well conversant people in other countries are in
English.

Global Reach's analysis (http://glreach.com/globstats/)
indicates that the number of those online in other languages
than English has surpassed the English-speakers online. English
represented 58% of the world online population a year ago, and now
only represents 49%.

This year has seen terrific growth in interest in multilingual
Websites. Global Reach promotes them in online communities of
each languages in the following ways:

        o -- Listing the Web address in local language indexes
        o -- Optimizing Home Pages in each language for both local
and translated versions of major U.S. search engines
        o -- Building affiliate programs in each targeted country
        o -- Working the email discussion groups in those
languages
