SPARTY SYSTEMS signs agreement with SIMONIZ U.S.A. and announces revolutionary tire pressure guard device.
DELRAY BEACH, FL - OCTOBER 19, 2000 - Sparty Systems LLC (www.sparty.com) of Delray Beach FL, manufacturer of Tire X-Tend flat tire preventative, announced today that a licensing agreement has been signed with Simoniz U.S.A. Inc. to market SIMONIZ SEALTITE a program aimed at the prevention of flats in passenger vehicles. Distribution of SIMONIZ SEALTITE will be available to the public in the first quarter of 2001, to be sold for $50 to $60 per car.
Sparty Systems LLC also announced the final stage of development of a new, patent pending device that will allow for continual pressure monitoring on tires . This small device is to be applied to the valve stem and a light will indicate if the air pressure is low.
Because of increased awareness of the problems of under inflation, SPARTY's preventative products have recently experienced an dramatic increase in sales.
The label SIMONIZ SEALTITE is a response to the consumer demands for quality brand name products in the flat tire prevention industry. SEALTITE is formulated according to SPARTY's Tire X-Tend world acclaimed premium sealant. Sparty looks forward to promoting the SEALTITE program to quick lube service stations, car washes, gas stations as well as new and used car dealerships. The sealant is installed in few minutes by using a special pump. The tires are then protected against punctures up to 1/4 of inch. Sparty's sealant is the world's only sealant that uses ceramic fibers. The product adheres to the internal surface of the tread and permanently seals any puncture occurring in the tread area, for the life of the tire.
This new item (project name AirGuard) for monitoring air pressure, is under evaluation by several tire accessory manufacturers to be put in their product line. The AirGuard is a direct response to the Government's request to find a way to clearly indicate under-inflation of tires. Price point to the public is not known yet, but it should be in the range of $15 to $20 per tire.
