New Government Security Planner

RiskWatch Inc., the leader in security management software solutions, today announced a new software package for government users. Called "U.S. Government Security Planner (TM)" the product offers a quick and easy way for any size government agency or organization to create a professional security plan.

All U.S. government agencies are required to have security plans.

"U.S. Government Security Planner" covers all information assets, such as computer hardware, software, personnel, Internet connections and networks. The Planner is designed to create a security plan for both classified and unclassified environments.

The Planner is interactive. The user selects the level of security and the elements to be included in the security plan such as Internet links, communication systems, data centers, facilities and personnel. Then the user reviews the standards for each area and clicks on the ones to include.

The "U.S. Government Security Planner" writes a complete security plan that includes security definitions and a glossary. Reference document links are also included.

The "U.S. Government Security Planner" is designed to save valuable staff time. Every organization must have a security plan, but many delay implementing this important security step because of lack of expertise or long delays waiting for a contract vehicle. "U.S. Government Security Planner" offers a low cost alternative and allows agency heads to meet or exceed security planning requirements.
