HOTELtelecom secures hotel high speed internet domains for future development

HOTELtelecom has secured four hot "dot com" domains related to providing high speed internet access to hotels. This comes on the heels of Monday's announcement that discussions are scheduled to begin within the next week with Cinema Internet Networks Inc. (d.b.a. CinemaWorks - CWK:CDNX). The proposed alliance will provide hotels with "free to guest" high speed internet access.

CinemaWorks recently announced the signing of a Memo of Understanding (MoU) with Sprint Canada Inc. (Toronto), TIV Operations Group, Inc. (Dallas), and WiredInn.com, Inc. (Dallas). Under the agreement, the companies have joined forces to deploy free-to-guest high-speed Internet services to the hospitality industry worldwide.

The new domain names are: DSLHotels.com; HotelHighSpeed.com; FreeToGuest.com and the plural FreeToGuests.com. HOTELtelecom is planning a Q1, 2001, ramp-up for two to three different sites utilizing these highly branded internet addresses. The domains were researched and registered for HOTELtelecom by www.top40domains.com, owned and operated by Top40 Networks Inc.

Jeff Jackson, president of HOTELtelecom, indicates that the company is committed to a highly publicized series of branded websites that will act as a calling card for HOTELtelecom with regards to all services offered. He goes on to say that hotel owners and managers will be educated at these sites regarding the "stay competitive" guest impression that is attached to adding "free to guest" high speed internet access.
