Kendall Park, NJ - The Second Annual Survivors of Suicide Day is on Saturday, November 18, 2000. Barbara Rubel, author of But I Didn't Say Goodbye: For parents and professionals helping child suicide survivors, will be hosting a Chat on the Internet on November 8th. Barbara, Director of the Griefwork Center, Inc. will be discussing suicide awareness, the Surgeon General Dr. David Satcher's Call To Action To Prevent Suicide.

Only three weeks before Barbara Rubel gave birth to triplets, her dad, a retired NYC police officer took his own life. Barbara's story was featured in the 1998 Emmy award winning PBS Documentary "Fatal Mistakes: Families shattered by suicide, starring Mariette Hartley.
