Horizon Foundation Taps Ellipsis Partners to Spearhead Development of Innovative Health Portal
Baltimore, MD - October 26, 2000 - The Horizon Foundation, Howard County's largest philanthropy, announced today that it has chosen Ellipsis Partners of Baltimore to research, design and build a unique health and human services portal for Howard County. The single-source web site will function as the premiere resource for information about health and human resources available in the area and will also serve as a means of exchanging information for area non-profit organizations.
"The Horizon Foundation Community Information Portal may set the curve for practical, web-based communication in the area of community-level health and human services," said Richard M. Krieg, president and chief executive officer of the Horizon Foundation. "It will provide an advanced, three-dimensional information and referral system for a variety of users from providers to citizens."
