What's wrong with this picture? George W. as Alfred E.
NEW YORK, November 2, 2000-- WHATS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? - GEORGE W. AS ALFRED E.
--In the grand tradition of lampooning Presidential hopefuls, New York based photo illustrator, Brian Stauffer, pokes fun at Bush by depicting him as Alfred E. Neuman. Mr. Stauffer's work regularly appears on the covers of The Village Voice, L.A. Weekly, The New York Times, and also in features within the pages of Time Magazine, Rolling Stone, Esquire, Entertainment Weekly, NYT Op-Ed, and many others.
The image, which can be found on the cover of this week's The Nation is causing further grief to a campaign burdened with defending George W.'s intellectual prowess.
