Accordent Announces First Live Multi-Platform Synchronization Architecture
Last month, Accordent introduced MIRA 3.0, a software architecture that enables companies to attach precisely targeted advertising and e-commerce content to on demand streaming audio and video. After the outstanding success of MIRA 3.0, Accordent is now introducing MIRA Live!, Accordent's next generation web-casting solution.
Like MIRA 3.0, MIRA Live! is said to enjoy all the benefits of Accordent's VITECH architecture, including: drag and drop content management, real-time database interaction, no plug-ins, and synchronization of multiple formats, including text, still pictures, banner ads, Flash, and e-commerce content. MIRA Live!, according to Mike Lorenz, Accordents CTO, also includes the MIRA tool set, which enables developers to create synchronized, multi-format presentations in minutes without programming or SMIL. For companies interested in preserving their web cast presentations, MIRALive! has an auto-archive function that enables companies to leverage and make subsequent changes to their live-streaming presentations in on-demand form.
Seth Gilman, Accordent's V.P. of business development, characterizes MIRA Live! as "adding a solution that provides unprecedented flexibility and efficiencies on the back-end while offering tremendous opportunities to enhance the experience of end-user's." When asked who would use MIRA Live!, Jereme Pitts, Accordent's V.P. of Sales and Marketing responded: "Any company that is looking to more fully leverage their live and on demand video content. Whether a companies focus is distance learning or entertainment, corporate or commercial, aggregation or syndication, MIRA 3.0 and MIRA Live! are exceptional presentation and revenue generation solutions that fully capitalize on the changing landscape of streaming media."
Accordent will soon be launching its third generation of the MIRA product line, MIRA Express, which leverages Accordents core technology to link third-party e-commerce and advertising to a large aggregated base of websites.
