Vectris to Offer Intels Customer Premises Equipment

Intel® PRO/DSL 3100 Modem Enables Rapid DSL Rollout

AUSTIN, Texas - November 14, 2000 - Vectris Communications, a leading regional provider of Internet and data networking solutions, today announced that it will offer the Intel® PRO/DSL 3100 Modem for customers who want to use the plug-and-play" convenience of a USB port on their PCs when adding DSL service. The announcement builds on the Vectris best-of-breed network and systems supplier strategy and is a key component of the companys mission to provide unmatched customer service.

The Intel® PRO/DSL 3100 Modem gives our customers a cost-effective, reliable DSL Internet connection with speeds ranging from 384 kbps to 1.5 Mbps," said Nick Mistry, Director of Product Management and Development for Vectris. This solution is ideal for the Small Office/Home Office SOHO) customers that require high bandwidth services for fast delivery of emails, large file transfers, Web research and collaboration."
