Mother starts up an internet shop, CD-ROM@HOME, to sell children's CD-ROMs
Suzanne Duce, is the owner of CD-ROM@HOME. She is a mum and ex-research scientist. Her interest in childrens CD-ROM started when her children were young, she had trouble finding titles and initially bought her CD-ROMs from the USA. Now her children are at school, she has decided to start my own business, CD-ROM@HOME, selling CD-ROMs on the web to parents like herself who are looking for fun ways for their children to learn.
She carefully researches and test her products. Her aim is to offer her customers the best CD-ROMs, those that have good educational and entertainment content. She is excited by this venture as children's CD-ROMs offers an unique educational opportunity as they are multimedia and interactive. They help children think, learn and be creative in an innovative and stimulating way. Children can learn at their own pace thus CD-ROMs provide individual tutoring.
She keeps her prices low, her starter packs and CD-ROM bundles are particularly good value. Suzanne Duce knows her field and she put on Multimedia Parties" in people's homes, where people can test the CD-ROMs before they buy and ask questions.
