It's going to be a great holiday for the folks at The Antique Jewelry Exchange! They're in the mood to celebrate and they're inviting all their friends to the party! The year 2000 marks the anniversary of the company's 25th year in business and its 3rd anniversary as an Internet success story! And how are they going to celebrate? By offering some lucky Y2K Santa a chance to win the "Ultimate Present Y2K" -- a little something extra to put in his or her pack this holiday season!
Heidi and Jason Knight, owners of the Tucson, AZ based company say, "We're just so thrilled with the way our business has grown, and the way the Internet has helped us to meet customers who wouldn't even know about us otherwise." And they do mean, "meeting" their Internet customers. "We have people who find us online, look through the catalog, and then drive from all over the state to come visit the shop in person. It's been wonderful to be able to reach so many people who we'd never meet otherwise. It's just been an unexpected and wonderful benefit of opening the web site store."
It's this heartwarming response from Internet shoppers coupled with the success of the physical store that prompted the Knights to come up with an idea to add a little more spice to their holiday sales. From now through December 15th, every purchase from either the Speedway Boulevard store or the Internet site at www.antiquejewelryexch.com will come with a chance to register for a 1930s circa 14K filigree ring valued at $850!
"The holiday season is historically a very good time of year for us, and this is a way of creating a little fun and drama to add to the holiday atmosphere. It seems appropriate that we tell our shoppers during this, our Silver Anniversary year, that we appreciate them," said Heidi. They'll do that by issuing one "Ultimate Present Y2K" entry form with every purchase made both online and off line during the 30-day contest period. "The winning entry will be drawn on December 15th, in plenty of time for us to gift wrap and mail this lovely vintage ring to the winner or other person of the winner's choice to arrive in time for Christmas." Old-time nostalgia to celebrate traditional success and the technological success of a new century -- that's something to celebrate!
