FIRST ELECTION WEBSITE -SORELOSERMAN.COM- GETS T-SHIRT TO BUSH

For Immediate Release
(Friday, November 17, 2000) As much of the nation remains glued to their televisions, a group of local Savannah entrepreneurs is capitalizing on the electoral mayhem with a little humor by launching their own website, a pun on the Democratic Presidential Duo, Al Gore and Joe Lieberman.
The group, operating out of a southside apartment and calling themselves The Real Winners," have launched a new website, www.soreloserman.com, where they are selling bumperstickers, t-shirts, buttons, and hats adorned with the satirical logo. Jeanne Seaver, VP of Marketing and Business Development for SoreLoserman.com believes the market for their products is the 48 million Americans who voted last Tuesday. We got over 300 hits a few hours after we launched the site. I cant believe the response." The group expects to sell over a million of its products, and has already started receiving orders from as far away as Virginia and Illinois.
Yesterday, after the group sent an email to the premiere pundit of the republican party, Rush Limbaugh, a few hours later a copy of the logo was prominently displayed on Rushs own website. Even more unbelievable was yesterday when a man identifying himself as a personal friend of the Bush family in Austin called to ask if he could give a t-shirt to the Republican Presidential hopeful. After shipping off a free shirt to the man, he called to confirm he had handed the shirt to his George W. Later, during a live report on CNN from the governors mansion, a huge sign with the soreloserman logo was unmistakably visible in the crowd behind the reporter.
Admitting that one of the founders of the company has Democratic tendencies, the local group is hard at work on their next bumper sticker, targeted on the Palm Beach voters, expected to launch in a few days, Dont Blame Me, I Thought I Voted for Gore."
