Motherboard HomeWorld Releases MOBOT for Licensing
SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA – December 1, 2000 – Motherboard HomeWorld (http://www.motherboards.org) is releasing its comprehensive motherboard database, MOBOT, for licensing by other Web sites. Under the licensing agreement, the MOBOT interface may be customized to integrate seamlessly with the look and feel of the licensees site.
MOBOT is designed to allow users to easily access technical information about their motherboard that can often be difficult to obtain even from motherboard manufacturers. MOBOT contains specifications and product photos for over 1,300 motherboards, and searches may be refined using up to 21 different criteria. Searches return links to manufacturer data and complete technical specifications, including manuals and BIOS upgrades, as well as links to independent product reviews. MOBOT also allows side-by-side specification comparisons of up to 20 motherboards at once.
MOBOT provides PC hardware information and e-commerce Web sites an easy way to add valuable content and increase return traffic. Motherboard HomeWorld handles all database maintenance. In addition to look and feel", customization options available to the licensee include defining the range of motherboards available for searching, the option to link to default or the licensees own specifications, and the ability to disable the display of manufacturer and vendor information. Additionally, e-commerce sites will have the ability to include their own price for each board displayed, as well as a direct link to their order page.
Different plans are available depending on the requirements of the licensee. For more information on how to license MOBOT, visit Motherboard HomeWorlds MOBOT licensing page at http://www.motherboards.org/mobotlic.html, or call (562) 699-9777.
