Located in the faraway mountains in South West China there is a group of people called Miao tribe, this special minority group is an enclave of artists who creat splendid batik art. New lauched online gallery Chinatowner.com brings some of their beautiful artwork to all over the world. All of these artworks are designed by a very famouse batik artist called Xu Bo in that area and made by his workshop. Xu was born in 1960, his began to design and make batik art more than 10 years ago. He got lots of prize for his fantastic artwork since then. In September, 1993 his artwork "1000 Arms Eyes Kwan Yin" (762" X 711") got the silver medal in the '93 International Panda Art Craft Exhibition.
These artworks are major in five catalog, which are Buddhist, Tibetan Buddhist, maiden & animals Fan Zeng's painting and modern art.
