Cadence Speaks on Hardware/Software Co-Design at EtroniX 2001

Norwalk, CT – Grant Martin, Fellow and Chief Technologist, Systems & Functional Verification of Cadence Design Systems will present a three-hour course entitled, Hardware/Software Co-Design" in the dEsign expo Conference at EtroniX 2001. The workshop will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2001 at 1:00 pm.

The course will leave attendees with a clear understanding of the motivations for hardware-software co-design; the distinction between co-design, co-verification and co-simulation technologies; a variety of research and industrial approaches to co-design. They will be aware of the importance of performance analysis which relates the partitioning of system function onto a hardware-software architecture, and the resulting prediction of the suitability of this partitioning to meet system objectives. Finally, they will have an understanding of future evolutions in co-design approaches.

EtroniX 2001 is produced and managed by the Electronics Group of Reed Exhibition Companies (REC). EtroniX will be held February 25 – March 1, 2001 in Anaheim, California.
