Hearlive.com Reaches 100th Band Milestone

Seattle, December 18th, 2000: Hearlive.com is proud to announce the signing of The Buell Neidlinger Quartet the 100th band to its site. This is a major milestone for Hearlive.com, whose catalog now proudly boasts over 7,000 high-quality live music tracks from an array of both independent and established artists.

Formed in January of 2000, Hearlive.com has become the Internet home to numerous artists including DJ Logic, The Disco Biscuits, Lake Trout, ULU, Sound Tribe Sector 9, Jiggle the Handle and more. On average, Hearlive.com adds 2-5 bands per week, and is expected to reach the 150 mark by the end of 1Q 2001.

Although the attaining of 100 bands may seem like a minimal feat compared to the likes of mp3.com who currently houses over 300,000 artist sites, Hearlive.coms artists are carefully scouted and selected, and are required to meet certain criteria. All of the artists on the Hearlive.com site must be actively touring, and be established on either the national or regional live music scene.
