Deeply Shallow Reading Manuscripts for Spring 2001 Issue
Deeply Shallow (www.deeplyshallow.cjb.net), the acclaimed fiction quarterly, is reading submissions for the Spring 2001 issue.
Deeply Shallow has previously published such respected writers as Harvey Stanbrough, a nominee for the 1999 Pulitzer Prize, and Ace Boggess, a poet twice nominated for the prestigious Pushcart Prize. Critically acclaimed Australian novelist Coral Hull and Pavement Magazine Books Editor Rachael King have also appeared in previous issues.
Jason Gurley, editor, is looking for fiction of 5,000 words or less for the upcoming issue. He is also accepting entries for the second Meaningless Short Story Contests. Entries must be less than 1,000 words and adhere to a Pacific Northwestern theme.
