Word 97/2000/XP has updated add-in available from Enhancement Software

New add-in for Word XP, StampIt 5.0 (backward compatible with 97 & 2000) that automates creation and use of watermarks and other document marking functions together with automatic document signing features. Fully funtional trial downloads are available.

Los Angeles, CA, September 12, 2001 —
The rubber stamp's days may be numbered.

StampIt 5.0, the indispensable document marking, identification, and tracking add-in for Word® 97/2000/XP, has been released by Enhancement Software.

Word 97/2000/XP users can print multiple copies of the same document, with different graphic words or phrases on each copy, all in one print session. For example, StampIt can print an un-stamped original, a copy with "FILE COPY", two copies with "CLIENT COPY" and a "CHRON FILE" copy at the same time and collate them automatically. Among many other convenient features, it eliminates unnecessary copy machine trips.
Widely praised, StampIt 5.0 has been tested, approved and accepted by Microsoft® as one of approximately 18 third-party Word 97/2000/XP add-ins and received a ZDNet Five Star Editors Choice Award among other critical acclaim.

StampIt includes 58 common words and phrases in outline, shaded (watermark) and solid formats. While all stamps" can be scaled, rotated, modified or positioned anywhere on a page, Word 97/2000/XP users can automatically create stamps" of any length up to three lines, on the fly, while in any document. StampIt also does envelopes, signature blocks, and any paper size Word 97/2000/XP handles.

"StampIt takes document marking and identification to new levels.", said Michael Ross, a principal in Enhancement Software. "By automatically embedding graphic words or phrases in any, selected, or all pages of a document when it is printed, StampIt eliminates document misuse or confusion. Hollow and watermark words and phrases don't effect readability and insure document integrity, tracking, and high impact. Its a classic example of innovation replacing tradition and the need for rubber or self-inking stamps."

Document security and tracking are enhanced since users can choose which pages are stamped" as well as being able to password protect the use of stamps and having the ability to lock stamps" into documents. StampIt also provides eight common preset positions, (left margin, centered, angled 30 degrees, etc.) as well as custom user settings and can create "stamps" or watermarks from existing graphics or company logos.

StampIt can also "stamp" existing documents, eliminating tedious hand stamping or marking. Users can also define and save sets of "stamps", eliminating repeated individual selection of the same words and phrases or settings for pages to be stamped. StampIt can also create a stamp" from virtually any graphic in hollow, shaded or solid format.

A fully-functional free trial download is available at www.stampitnet.com, Softseek.com (search for StampIt) and other popular download sites. Single copy licenses for StampIt 5.0 are $19.95. Quantity discounts are available. StampIt 5.0, requires Word 97/2000/XP or WordPerfect 7/8/9, Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP.
