SKALI.COM PORTAL TO CARRY MSC-IT INDEX ONLINE

Multimedia Super Corridor, February 15, 2000: Internet player Skali.com (PRWEB) February 18, 2000 -info portal, has forged an alliance with MSC Times.com (www.msctimes.com) and Investors Xchange (www.investorsxchange.com) to display a live feed of the MSC IT Index on its site beginning February 18.

Skali.com's e-information portal, which attracts over two million visitors a month, will carry real-time quotes of the MSC IT Index as a free service.

The move to put the MSC IT Index on a mass appeal platform like Skali.com is expected to widen the appeal of the component stocks of the index to both retail and institutional investors in the Asia-Pacific region. .

The MSC IT Index is the country's newest sectoral index of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange and is made up of high-growth stocks whose main business is in information technology.

The move is part of a wider plan by Skali.com to enhance the quality of its business information channels, which currently makes up about 50 per cent of its overall content.

Skali.com, an Asian-centric Internet content aggregator, provides a wide range of information, real time updated news, business updates and trade links, is the first e-info portal to take live-feed of the MSC IT Index.

The Index, to be launched on February 18, will be fed to Skali.com by Investors Xchange, the pioneer of `Click n Trade' cybertrading in Malaysia and Internet-delivered real-time quotes on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE).

Come February 18, the MSC IT index will enable viewers of Skali to monitor real time quotes of 18 local IT counters - seven from the main board and 11 from the second board of the KLSE during trading hours.
