Hill Physicians Medical Group Selects Scan Solutions as Document Management Partners

San Ramon, Calif. (February x, 2000) - Hill Physicians Medical Group, a leading independent practice association (IPA), has selected Scan Solutions as its paper claims forms processing and document management partner. Scan Solutions will serve as an intake center for all paper physician and hospital claims. Utilizing optical scanning technology, claims will be electronically transmitted to Hill Physicians through their electronic commerce partner, Healtheon/WebMD. This will significantly improve the efficiency and quality of claims processing.

In addition, a document management system, OnBase, will also be employed on-site at Hill Physicians as a mechanism to store and manage claims documents. Customer Service personnel at Hill Physicians will have instant access to all scanned documents, system generated reports, and claims data, greatly enhancing Hill Physicians ability to provide timely and effective service to its members and providers.
