ISILK UNVEILS FREE WEB TRANSLATION PRODUCT AT INTERNET WORLD ASIA
Singapore conference to showcase debut of iSilk Cobrowser multilingual tool providing instant English-Chinese translation as users surf
HONG KONG - February 28, 2000 - iSilk.com, an Internet software company developing navigation and communication applications, announced its participation in the Internet World Asia expo being held in Singapore from March 1-3. Cosponsors of the Media conference which takes place February 29th at 10:00 A.M., iSilk will be giving a live presentation demonstrating the beta release of their free multilingual translation tool.
The iSilk Cobrowser is a next-generation browser companion that brings users multilingual content, including instant Chinese-English translation, as they surf. Operating with and residing within current browsers, the free cobrowser is offered in two versions: the iSilk Cobrowser, a fully functional no-download version which works straight off the web: and the downloadable iSilk Turbo Cobrowser that automatically embeds directly into browsers to provide enhanced speed and performance.
"We're very excited about Internet World Asia 2000," said iSilk Founder and CEO Prof. Dekai Wu. "This is a watershed moment for the Internet in the region, and we're looking forward to sharing our translation product with the public, helping to further facilitate the phenomenal growth of the web in Asia."
iSilk will also be hosting an invitation only VIP lounge where special guests will view a private multimedia demonstration of current and future iSilk products.
To begin surfing with the iSilk Cobrowser, users can visit www.isilk.com. More tools will soon be added to the cobrowser to further enhance web browsing with other new capabilities.
