XiMed Group Launches Web Site

The Pharmaceutical Development Company, XiMed Group PLC is pleased to announce the launch of its Corporate and Subsidiary web sites. The Corporate site at www.ximedgroup.com incorporates an understanding of the various roles of the Group whilst the subsidiary sites offer detailed technical information on the individual company activities.

The site has been designed in an easily accessible format to provide information to satisfy the needs of the different types of visitors - Investors, Customers and potential Licensing Partners.

The buttons to the left of each of the pages provide easy access and navigation to pages of information. On the XiMed site, information can be obtained on the Corporate Strategy and Mission Statement, the latest News Releases and projects available for out-licensing. The site is also linked via the Investor Relations page to the OFEX web site which provides direct access for Investors to monitor the XiMed share price.

Easy access to the other subsidiary web sites, BioClin, Reductogen and Phytogenics, is also provided by navigation buttons. Development of an e-commerce link will attract new customers who are actively seeking information on the Internet, this will, in turn, create opportunities and enhance the business of the Group.

Our site is already attracting significant enquiry traffic from the groups we have targeted and, whilst this is uncovering new challenges as well as opportunities, we are delighted with progress.

Establishment of a website represents an ongoing commitment and we intend to remain flexible in our approach as we learn how to manage this new resource.

As e-commerce with Prevacan® and new nutraceutical products is introduced, the team, in conjunction with our IT Manager and despatch staff will be well placed to integrate this class of business smoothly with our other operations."

XiMed Group Plc is a small Pharmaceutical group which acts as a holding company for the four subsidiaries, Reductogen, BioClin, Phytogenics and Profemme. Whilst XiMed manages and owns the group intellectual property interests and fulfils the principal strategic management and treasury functions, the subsidiaries are active in the pharmaceutical, bioanalytical, medical screening and nutraceutical fields. The Groups pharmaceutical strategy is to commence early development of its NCEs and then to seek out licensing partners to take the products through further development, approval, and the marketing process.
