After two months of hard and nonstop work we are very pleased to unveil the all-new Mac OS Planet and iBook Planet web-sites. Thanks to key investments the M.O.S.P. team was able to turn the site upside down and inside out to bring Mac OS Planet to a new level that I often dreamed of. As you can see both sites have taken on a more mature and clean-cut look than the previous sites. Ive also added many new features and reinstated old ones that people loved, but I never was able to continue.

First let me give you a tour of the new features.

1. New Look and feel: As I already said the sites have taken on a maturer look, and are now covered in the colors of Apples current product line. The front page will also hold all of the days daily news.

2. Increased Column Publishing:
The Mac OS Planet team will be publishing industry favorite columns such as PowerBook! (Previously On The Road With Your PowerBook), Mac Shareware (Previously Indispensable Mac Shareware), and finally New Mac User a column that only saw two publication runs but garnered well over 20,000 page views, and more praise than you a shake a stick at on a weekly basis. We will also be publishing George Wagners Playful Mac columns and product reviews on as available basis.

3. Mac News In Six Different Languages! :
This is one of my favorite features of the new site. Since the internet is global, we decided to make Mac OS Planet global as well. Using a sophisticated translation engine visitors will be able to read Macintosh news in their native language.

4. APPL Info:
AAPL Info is a simple, yet unique feature to Mac web-sites that provides investors with useful information and utilities that we hope will better an investors experience with Apple and the stock market.

5. Tips Archive:
Many of you asked for it, and now you have it. We have created a complete archive (well over two months worth) of our Macintosh tip of the days.

6. Mac Jobs & Mac Classified Ads:
The Mac Jobs section is another simple, yet well-implemented feature that we hope will allow talented Mac using individuals and firms that use Macintosh to find jobs and staff.

The classified ad section a once popular feature at Mac OS Planet is one of the many sections that was turned upside down, and now offers a commission free area for buying and selling Macs.

7. Interact & Tech Support: Finally, we have revamped the interact and tech support centers. Our very popular and free 24//7 e-mail tech support center has been rebuilt so users will be able to seek help with their Macintosh much easier than before. The interact section has also been redone, and now features new message boards, a daily newsletter, and a weekly poll.
