Interactive Web Studio to Focus on Making the Internet More Exciting
O'Fallon, MO -- Skywalker Communications, known for distribution of DISH Network Satellite Systems, Computer Systems, and Consumer Electronics announced it is entering the interactive web site market, with IT Verge (www.itverge.com).
IT Verge focuses on integrating a diverse set of leading-edge technologies including ASP, DHTML, database integration, and Macromedia's Flash 4 to produce interactive, multimedia e-commerce sites that create a dynamic, powerful web presence.
They believe a new concept is needed to serve the changing spectrum of audience expectations. IT Verge developer, David Jacobs, says the Internet must rapidly change to a more interactive medium.
"Web content producers are dealing with a TV generation," Jacobs said. "That is our market, and that is the attention span that must be catered to. A web site must be exciting, and evoke strong feelings of audience involvement. Macromedia's Flash has become the standard for delivering streaming multimedia content, and integrating this technology with the traditional static e-commerce and marketing methods is the challenge for the next generation of web developers."
