With Help From Baltimore Company,
Oxygen Media's Approach To Technology
Is As Revolutionary As Its Content

The hubs and servers that catalog and process all the advertising insertions, rates and contracts data for the nation's most prominent cable television and Internet channel for women, are housed and managed by Z-Cubed, a Baltimore-based company that has created a completely new category in the technology industry.

Z-Cubed, which is the first Managed Technology Center (MTC), manages the technological infrastructure for New York-based Oxygen Media in its Baltimore facility.

Z-Cubed, Oxygen Media/2--

Oxygen Media, which has already won praise for its revolutionary approach to content and content delivery and in bringing together the power of two media, the Internet and television, utilizes an approach to technology that is equally forward-thinking.

"First, a company would develop its own information technology (IT) departments. Then, when they realized that it was more efficient and cost-effective, they started to bring outside professionals on-site to handle IT management. Now companies like Oxygen Media have figured out that the easiest way to manage IT is to ship all the equipment and the headache of maintaining it off-site," said Pete Chakales, President and CEO of Z-Cubed.

As the first company to focus specifically on managing mission critical technology in its own stand-alone structure, Z-Cubed represents an attractive alternative to managing systems in-house or relying on Internet Service Providers, Application Service Providers, Managed Service Providers and other companies not specifically created for mission-critical operations. Z-Cubed houses and manages the mission-critical IT infrastructures for Fortune 500 companies in media, healthcare, e-commerce and other non-technological industries.

As the first Managed Technology Center (MTC), Z-Cubed is the only company in the North America to house and manage mission critical systems for non-technology companies. For more information, please call Eric Hartsock at 410-604-1796.
