Upcoming and Anticipated Stock Splits to Watch

Split Predict Technologies is pleased to report the results of its statistical analysis on several of the most widely followed upcoming stock splits, as well as information on the anticipated stock split announcement from Inktomi Corp.

Ariba, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARBA) announced a two-for-one stock split on March 2, 2000.  Since their split announcement, Ariba has moved from $299 11/16 per share to $298 per share as of March 13, 2000, losing 0.6% in value.  Historical analysis shows that Ariba usually gains 12.7% in value two days before the actual split, which is expected on April 3, 2000.  Prior to the upcoming stock split, Ariba had declared one stock split.

Radiant Systems (NASDAQ:RADS) announced a three-for-two stock split on February 10, 2000.  Since their split announcement, Radiant has moved from $53 1/2 per share to $74 per share as of March 13, 2000, gaining 38.3% in value.  Historical analysis shows that Radiant should move 8% in value 6 days prior to the actual split, which is expected on April 3, 2000.  Prior to the upcoming stock split, Radiant had never declared a stock split.

Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO) announced a two-for-one stock split on February 8, 2000.  Since their split announcement, Cisco has moved from $125 13/16 per share to $136 3/16 per share as of March 13, 2000, gaining 8.2% in value.  Historical analysis shows that Cisco usually gains 13.2% in value 5 days prior to the actual split, which is expected on March 23, 2000.  Prior to the upcoming stock split, Cisco had declared eight stock splits.

Redback Networks (NASDAQ:RBAK) announced a two-for-one stock split on March 8, 2000.  Since their split announcement, Redback has moved from $327 11/16 per share to $379 per share as of March 13, 2000, gaining 15.7% in value.  Historical analysis shows that Redback usually falls 4 days before the actual split and then gains 11.7% in value 5 days after the actual split, which is expected on April 4, 2000.  Prior to the upcoming stock split, Redback had declared only one stock split.

Inktomi Corp. (NYSE:INKT) is anticipated to announce a two-for-one stock split at their earnings announcement.  Since their last split announcement, Inktomi has moved from $96 11/16 per share (split adjusted), to $189 per share as of March 13, 2000, gaining 95.5% in value.  Historical analysis shows that Inktomi will usually announce a stock split when their stock price reaches and maintains $160 per share.  Prior to the upcoming stock split, Inktomi had declared two stock splits.
