New www.customheadlines.com Web Site is Fun Free Diversion
Custom Headlines is the safest April Fool's joke this year
SUDBURY, MA -- Adgrafix Corporation, a leading Web hosting firm, announced today the official release of a new free web site: Custom Headlines. The Custom Headlines site (http://www.customheadlines.com) makes it easy to create a custom web page featuring personalized headlines and will email the address to friends or family at no charge.
"Not only can you create a totally bogus news story to fool or impress your friends, but we'll even email it to them for free," senior vice-president Eric Cooper said.
The web site allows visitors to the site to create an unlimited number of custom headlines with a "Special Edition" front page for any newspaper name they create. The resulting web page can be printed on any printer without downloading any software or using any special equipment.
"I've already created several of my own and I'm still having fun with it," said Robert S. Bennett, Adgrafix president. "My dad thinks I've purchased the Microsoft Corporation from one headline I sent him.
"This service emails only a plain text message -- no attachments (no risk of virus).
The only people who receive a message or those specified by the user -- and no attachments are mailed. This is a guaranteed safe internet April Fools prank.
"This is just one way we can give something funny back to the internet and comedy communities," said Cooper.
Adgrafix has a long history of humor -- all their servers are named after comedians. Molly Shannon is the most recent comedienne to be honored with a server.
