AegisGuard Phone Radiation Shields Deflect Mobile Phone Radiation Away from the Head and Neck

ST. LOUIS, Missouri - April 3, 2000 -- Aegis Corporation, a worldwide leader in mobile phone shielding products, today announced its patented shielding technology which deflects up to 99.9% of the radiation emitted by mobile phones away from the head and neck of the user - without affecting reception or battery life.

The explosive growth in mobile phone usage has accelerated a controversy and global debate among scientists, regulatory agencies, phone manufacturers and activist organizations over the potential health risks associated with phone radiation and towers.

Mobile phones emit the same form of electromagnetic radiation produced by microwave ovens, and all microwave oven doors have embedded shielding material that deflects the radiation back into the cavity of the oven.
