NetCommerce Inc. Completes Acquisition of Tectonic Data (TD) to Provide Video Storage and Streaming Technology Services to Business Customers

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-April 10, 2000--NetCommerce Inc. (OTCBB:NEET) http://www.netcommerceinc.com) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of a majority interest in Tectonic Data L.L.C., a provider of products and services for video/audio media storage and streaming.
Tectonic Data is being positioned to provide products to the 3,000 existing clients of NetCommerce Inc.s subsidiary, Metroplexweb, Inc. in retail, services, automotive, and energy industries - to name a few. This effort will provide value-added services to Metroplexwebs existing Web design customers, and further accomplish the companys goals by capturing yet another segment of each business customers Internet budget, and ranking Metroplexweb, Inc. as a vertical market showpiece" in the ISP industry.
We also anticipate developing online media channels, and have acquired a video encoding suite," said Kimball Norman, President and CEO of Tectonic Data. Our efforts will involve creating Gigasphere.com, a 'streaming video technology, and full service encoding of media for our customers." Normans background includes providing and maintaining large video streaming content libraries online with Broadcast.com.
