AMERICAN MANNERS IN SPOTLIGHT FOR
     NATIONAL ETIQUETTE WEEK

NEW YORK - National Etiquette Week is a national self-assessment on the current status of civility in the United States. This annual event is celebrated the second week in May beginning on Monday. This year, National Etiquette Week begins May 8th and ends on May 13th.

New York based etiquette consultant, Sandra Morisset, originated National Etiquette Week in 1997. "Etiquette has become very popular", says Morisset. "We needed a national recognition of proper etiquette in all areas of American life."

National Etiquette Week 2000 intends to promote and address all areas of etiquette and protocol.
